On the way to LACR November 23, 2003, we hit a little bit of a snag. On Highway 138 (known as
one of the most dangerous highways in the world) towards Palmdale, we were involved in a six car
accident, started by one guy who couldn't wait to pass the car in front of him and decided to do
some offroading. Three cars later, the oncoming motor home (unfortunately containing two senior
citizens on their way to take care of their sick mother) hit from the chain reaction came barreling
into our car and trailer. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt. Things could have been a LOT worse.
Needless to say it took a year to straighten things out, and I hope everyone involved has fully
continued on with their lives.
