THE STORY
In 1999 I had a VR-4 of my own and had turned it into an accordian when a suburban had pulled out in front
of me.  At the time my brother, Ben now 19, had a 1991 Steath non-turbo and really wanted a turboed version
of his own.  We had tried some smaller, easier, bolt on modifications to make his car a litte quicker, but it
just didn't really have enough power to really haul that 3000lb. car like he wanted.  Well I think he ended up
getting what he wanted.  In 2001 he found a 1996 VR-4 with only 20K miles on it, used by an older man for a
weekend toy.  Man, when it arrived, it was in pristine condition inside and out, expecially for a 5 yr. old car!  
These cars are pretty neat with their factory 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steering, twin-turboed V6.  They also have
a unique feature of adjusable front and rear spoilers at the push of a button.  Also they are equipped with
electronically adjustable sport shocks.  This car came with black and tan leather interior.   Well, I'll tell you we
went to work just about immediately with the money available, starting with the basics and working our way
deeper and deeper into this extremely tightly compacted engine compartment.  Note that this is a daily driven
street car.
